Humana Brazil is running a community development program in three municipalities of the Bahia state, namely Cansanção, Quijingue and Itiuba. The program benefits more than 150 rural communities, belonging to the three municipalities.

The decision to work in the above mentioned municipalities, was taken having in consideration the low Human Development Index that Cansanção, Quijingue and Itiuba have.
